SOMEBODY STUDIOS FILM SCHOOL / FILM STUDIO GREECE
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION AND SUPPORT OF OUR SEMINAR IN OCTOBER, 2017. WE WILL BE OFFERING MORE COURSES IN 2018. WE WILL UPDATE THIS PAGE WITH MORE DETAILS ONCE WE HAVE THEM.
Somebody Studios is working closely with the Greek government and the EU and our architectural partners Gensler to build a state of the art film studio and international film school in Greece. Our goal is to expand the Greek film industry and attract productions from all over the world to Greece. In doing so we hope to help re-build the Greek economy and make Greece the hub of film production in Europe.
A large part of our plan is the development of infrastructure and to that end we ran the first of many training programs in October 2017 in Syros. We have now expanded our course program and will be offering seminars starting in 2018 on various subjects taught by filmmakers with many years of experience on some of the most successful independent and studio films ever made. Film courses will be on various aspects of film making for film makers of all levels. The courses will be available to international students and Greek students. Greek students will be able to apply to attend for free.
The initial course was offered free to Greek film students and film makers and non-film makers. A limited number of International students attended but priority was given to Greek students.
For more information about investment in our film initiative in Greece and for a prospectus please email firstname.lastname@example.org with "Greek Film Initiative" in the subject line.
